Endurance was about 150m diam with 7m of outcrop
Victoria is about 700m diam with 20-40m of outcrop.

Let's calculate the total 'outcrop area' as circum * outcrop height....

Eagle - 39 sqM
Endurance- 3300 sqM
Victoria- 44000 - 88000 sqM

New information from this update:
"The crater, known as "Victoria," is approximately 750 meters (half a mile) wide and 70 meters (230 feet) deep.

Images from NASA's Mars Global Surveyor orbiter show the crater walls expose a stack of rock layers approximately 30 to 40 meters (100 to 130 feet) thick."

How do you get that image from a tgw to a jpeg

It's simple : you need Terragen, available on this site : http://www.planetside.co.uk/terragen/

70 meters deep? Okay, it's a little deeper than my simulation with the sunset (deep there is about 60 m). Perfect! When it's possible, I will try to make a rendering.

Ant,

Would it be possible, using MRO and Oppy latest picture to simulate what we would see from INSIDE the crater ?
