Quite a bit of good stuff here... lunar composition variability from MMM, and recent Mars gullies from CTX caught my eye especially.

There's also lots of juicy abstracts for Europlanet. I'll post that in it's own topic I guess.

The abstracts on lunar surface composition, titan, enceladus, on the recovered Almahata Sitta meteorite, and the detection of surface water ice on asteroid 24 Themis are enough to set me dribbling, and I lost two hours just reading through....I hope there's plenty of coverage from the sessions when they start!

I think coverage will be poorer than usual because this year DPS is being held at a resort in Puerto Rico. Even though airfare to San Juan isn't really any more expensive than it is to a site in the continental US, the hotel is expensive, there's no cheapola motel down the street as an alternative, and the trip looks a bit like a boondoggle at a time when institutions are strapped for cash. I know there's an unusually small number of press registered this year. I won't be going both for financial and for family reasons, but I'll do what I can to cover it from home.
