No surprises? Well the huge surprise for me was in the caption for the first area - Deposits in Electris, here:

The caption reads in part (corrected for grammar) "Close examination of the outcrops reveals layering that in some places appears to include meter-scale blocks ... More detailed mapping ... should provide new insight into the origin of these enigmatic materials." So apparently my innocent speculation about boulder beds based on an image from last week merely jumped the gun by a week. laugh.gif Thanks for the link and thanks again Doug for straightening me out then, BTW.
