WOW!!! Another picture that should be included in every future book about Mars! blink.gif Poor Viking landers and Pathfinder, their pictures will be ignored from now on... smile.gif

I wouldn't go that far. Viking 1 was the first lander to image Mars. Viking 2 took that wonderful frost picture. And Patfinder, in addition to photographing a cool landscape, has the advantage of the photos it took of Sojourner, some of the most exciting images ever returned from Mars (not to mention the images Sojourner returned of Pathfinder!). With all these views from Viking, Pathfinder, and now the plethora of images from the MERs, we are in the position to make one mean coffeetable book on Mars (especially if orbiter views are used too).
