Full Version: Two of the martian "caves" aren't anymore

Hi everybody,

By comparing three pictures taken by the Mars Express spacecraft for Dena, and two for Wendy, I discovered that these caverns were in fact only big holes in the martian ground. sorry… off topic… but what mission is that martian atmosphere image on your blog from?

I'd just like to step in and say thanks very much for that very informative first post, and the link to your site where indeed there is lots to look at even if you don't speak French. A very warm welcome indeed. (I love those Martian clouds.)

All the raw images I put on my blog are from the european Mars Express spacecraft. I wonder why these haven't been put on the Internet before, because I think these are wonderful ones...
