It's good news indeed that
"... We’re current planning the details for a two year extension, but hope, as with Galileo, that Cassini may be sending back data from the Saturn system for many years beyond that.."

The problem with Galileo (beside running low on orbit-asjusting fuel), was that it was being *** FRIED *** by the radiation. Things were bad and progressively deteriorating.
Now at the inner moons.. Dione inwards and especially Enceladus inwards. Saturn has some pretty bad radiation belts. People would need a lot of shielding, but it's nothing like Jupiter's belts.
