If Beagles parachutes failed to deploy how fast would it have hit the ground? Genesis impacted at 193 mph and weighed about 420lbs.
Both those issues are calculated, very verbosely, in the internal report document.
Terminal velocity would be much higher because of the thinner atmosphere - even thought the genesis SRC was about 7 times heavier than B2.
iirc - the expected impact crater for B2 is between 2 and 6 metres.
