Unfortunately, my holiday schedule is sort of screwed for '06 ( A week in the north of England in June, and a week in Valencia in October )

If it was over a weekend, I could probably do Madrid though - it would be nice to visit a DSN station, and Easyjet rules smile.gif

I missed your reply!
I'm in Haute-Garonne near Ariège in a city called l'Isle en Dodon. If you still plan to go in October, send me a mail & see if we can meet.

Wow, Philip. What a view!
I would like to be there, but I was sick in the last month (leg issue).
Anyway, did you asked about main antenna maintenance? When she will return fully operative?
Nix
Yes Philip, the antenna is a beast ohmy.gif

Loved to have been there but I haven't managed to work something out for this year...

O.K Guys ... maybe next year ( the 100-meter antenna in Effelsberg - Germany ... or SETI's ear in Arecibo - Puerto Rico ! )

dilo, the replacement of the oil-film on which the huge antenna rests remains an issue as it puts the 70-meter antenna out for a couple of days... for more details, contact me off-forum wink.gif
