Not very accurate yet - still working on it, but just for fun, there it is.

That was wonderful! What software are you using? I'd love to be able to merge an evironment like this into a flight simulator application.

Beautiful Doug, I want "making of" details too...

That's cool. After looking at the images from the ground so much, I definitely recognize the scenery, so it must be approaching accuracy...

Great work, Doug - and as for the 'making of', yes, please - and maybe a pointer towards the location of the .DEM file...

Très chique Doug! I'm stunned by your progress in doing these renderings.

You finally got new dr@gs? Terrific news. smile.gif

Did you do these in color yet?

Nico
djellison
Well - it's based on MOC imagery, so no colour to be had really. If someone makes me a fudged-colour one I can do it.

BUT - I think I'll be leaving this little puppy for a few weeks, as I've got another little project I'm on to now, in between the usual thinks like preparing for talks, building my new shed-office, managing the forum, feeding the cat, paying the mortgage, doing Q'n'As with Jim........blah blah blah smile.gif It's a hard life biggrin.gif

Yes - new drugs, but I just ran out - I'm starting to shake....I've been on several of these a day

Got ya..surely projecting calibrated color mosaics from different positions around Husband Hill couldn't be that hard blink.gif

It's a hard life indeed -I'm into some self-study right now, in between feeding the kids, working, cleaning, you name it. sad.gif

And I'm waiting for MRO-images and more renderings from YOU. rolleyes.gif

what is that shed-office?

Nico wink.gif
dvandorn
And, Doug -- after you finish your first shed, might you possibly be considering building a second shed?

Then we could call you "Douglas 'Two-Sheds' Ellison," you see...
