The Journal of Geophysical Research-Planets has been publishing papers online for a special issue entitled "Second Conference on Early Mars: Geologic, Hydrologic, and Climatic Evolution and the Implications for Life." These papers are an outgrowth of last year's LPI-sponsored conference of the same name.

At his Hayden afternoon lecture on 12 Dec 2005, Steve Squyres said there would be a special issue in Jan or Feb 2006 with about 20 Spirit papers.

... and more papers to be published in an early 2006 issue of Earth and Planetary Science Letters.
