FYI, the newest issue of Sky & Telescope (December 2005) has a Mars Express "cover" story, and there are several other odds & ends of topics that come up around here (Deep Impact, Hyabusa, etc.). Might be worth a trip to the newsstand or library.

One thing I hadn't seen mentioned anywhere else is a blurb about Spitzer's observations of 2003 UB313:

Recent new observations with the infrared Spitzer Space Telescope have allowed Brown and his team to confirm that 2003 UB313 is indeed larger than the previous KBO record holder, Pluto, by about 20%. [...] The size measurement will be finalized soon, but "if it's not larger than Pluto, I'll eat my telescope," says Brown.


That kind of implies that the Spitzer measurements from late August are in and examined - maybe an official announcement Real Soon Now?
