September 10th was the last opportunity to image MPL with cProto resolution. That's about a 100 hours ago. I guess you're as eager as me (and others on this forum) to see what happened, but we need some more patience i'm afraid... What i know is that it recovered before that date, however, i don't know about the status of it by the 10th.
What i do know is that imageing the crash site with this technique asks an accuracy in knowledge of the orbital position of MGS to within 30 milliseconds.
Hope this knowledge was established before the photo-opportunity, but i am not that optimistic about is.
