140th anniversary of the REAL founder of this forum ;)

Erich Regener was born on November 12, 1881 in Bydgoszcz, Poland. In 1942-1945, together with his colleagues, he created the Regener Tonne - the first scientific payload for the first space rocket (A4).

In honor of Regener and Hugo Hergesell, another great scientist born in Bydgoszcz, Polish physicists performed two unique stratospheric soundings. The video below summarizes these missions and I hope you enjoy it.
