Today's (July 18, 2024) sunspot number https://spaceweather.com/glossary/sunspotnumber.html is currently 275, the highest value for Solar Cycle 25.

Multiple CME's heading our way. Possible G3-class geomagnetic storm (s) on July 30th and 31st. Mid-latitude auroras visible from Europe and the USA are possible.

The sun continues to be peppered with complex sunspots with counts rivaling those seen in Solar Cycle 23, 23 years ago. G2 geomagnetic storms may occur on the third of August.
