For some perspective on the way forward for the ExoMars 2028 lander, here is an image of the Franklin rover sitting atop the Kazachok lander.

Here is a diagram of the ExoMars 2022 spacecraft.

Has ESA released any information about the design of the ExoMars 2028 lander?
If not, we can use the Kazachok lander as a starting point to estimate the new lander's architecure.

Here is another view of the Kazachok lander.

Attached Image

Visible are the 4 landing legs and what appear to be 4 main thrusters.
There are also prop and Helium tanks visible, as far as I can tell.

Here is a view of the ExoMars 2022 aeroshell and carrier module.

This appears to be some type of encapsulation test.

Again, these images provide a reference for the Thales lander.
That new lander must be able to fit within the aeroshell.
It must also have essentially the same mass as the Kazachok lander.
Then there will be, I assume, a series of Drop Tests of the Thales lander.
