Interestingly, the project was very quiet about this until this morning. It seemed like the only folks who knew outright before the images were taken were those on tactical on Friday and those of us on the team who peek at the uplink reports like obsessive hounds. /guiltyascharged There's been boatloads of email traffic this morning about it. Thanks to our PR man (Guy Webster), Scott Maxwell and I were able to tweet/blog about it as soon as the images came down (read: as soon as I got back from the beach yesterday!). Poignant indeed. -m |

Gotta say I really like the grittiness of the original NASA image release. It signals "long way away, working hard, still there ten years on"...
