Hi All,
I was given this heads up on a website where you can sit in on a meeting of the Science Operations Working Group (SOWG) for MER. It is posted by Senator John Culberson. http://qik.com/video/98040 It gives a fascinating insight into current MER operations. There's also a one-on-one with Steve Squyres with an update on current issues with the Rovers. I hope that we get to see more of these. Also, Culberson was in the mission operations centre at JPL during the Phoenix EDL, and gives an interesting perspective into the days proceedings. Well worth a look. Enjoy Astro0 |

This interview with Steve Squyres was done a while ago, but provides interesting comments all the same.
Only just came across it....in video and MP3 formats. http://www.abc.net.au/science/broadband/ta...ult.htm#squyres Astro0 |
